We are a shelter for women and their children. The building is in the center of Athens, close to two metro stations and it has: one office, a community room and a classroom (where the volunteers mailny work) and the houses of the residents in the 2nd and 3rd floor (volunteers are not allowed to go there, only after perimission is some specific cases).

The volunteers who come to us they work on shifts. We have morning shifts (from 10.00 pm to 2.00 pm) and evening shifts (from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm); we ask the volunteers to make, at least, 4 shifts per week. The mainly work during the shifts is to play with the kids, to learn to them the disclipine, the respect and the self care. Also, we have homework time, outside time in parks and museums and so on.
For the rest of the time, we prefer if some structured activity or workshop take place.

The application process is to send us an e-mail or a pm on our Facebook page and we will make a skype interview or a phone interview to discuss how we could work together.

Thank you.
