aka "Gypsy market" -- every Saturday from about 10pm until late afternoon Sunday, south of Elaionas / Eleonas metro station. Roma families sell everything: fruit and veg, clothing, shoes, antiques. Good for inexpensive shoes, winter jackets, blankets. http://maps.google.com/?q=37.981911,23.689949
(has moved around the area a couple of times since 2015, so pin may not be completely accurate. as of June 2017, walk south from metro stop and looked for parked cars around a church in a traffic circle. main market is inside a big warehouse, with smaller vendors set up in parking lots and other spaces nearby. also look for παζαρι ('pazari') spray-painted with arrows.)
for security reasons we currently do not publish exacte locations.
