Lifting Hands International is looking for a volunteer to run recruitment for our Serres community centre project, working alongside a camp in Northern Greece, about one hour away from Thessaloniki.
We are looking for a volunteer coordinator from MID JULY onward. You will be part of a great team that provides recreational and educational classes for Yazidi refugees of all ages, as well as food and clothing aid for our 600 residents.
As volunteer coordinator you would:
you would need to dedicate approximately 3-6 hours a day to volunteer coordination tasks. Outside of this, you would join one of the following teams, depending on your personal interests and strengths: working with children, working with women, yoga and fitness teaching or music teaching.
For this role we ask for a minimum time commitment of 90 days, we offer a free bed in our apartments and a small monthly reimbursement. Age requirement 21+. After spending some time on the ground it's also possible to work remotely.
