SHOWERPOWER FOUNDATION

ShowerPower is a private initiative taken from the Netherlands. 

ShowerPower offers women and children from camp Moria on Lesvos island clean and safe showers. A place, where one can relax by having a hot shower followed by a cup of tea and genuine attention. Where children can play safely while their mums have their bath. We want to give our guests a space of time and make them feel they are human beings. It's all about dignity.

For now, women and children are invited, but ShowerPower has plans for more hammam's to also serve men and boys. 

ShowerPower is a registered NGO. Everyone working for the foundation does so on a voluntary basis.
