Client Services Manager (Volunteer)
A.Ss.I.S.T. is a non-profit private company working to provide legal support for people seeking asylum in Greece. We are registered with the First Instance Court of Chios and our Statutes permits us to operate anywhere in Greece. Our small team of lawyers, interpreters and administrative staff provide a service to people seeking asylum in Athens, Chios and remotely throughout Greece. The purpose of this role is to support our service delivery. We operate two Whatsapp lines through which clients contact us to seek legal assistance. The client services manager is responsible for organising and managing these phone lines, the appointments with lawyers and interpreters and subsequent referrals.
Many volunteers choose to work with A.S.s.I.S.T. as part of their university studies or to gain work experience. Indeed, volunteering with A.S.s.I.S.T. is an excellent opportunity to develop skills and learn about the asylum system in Greece as well as develop skills including interpersonal communication, management and organisational skills.
