We are a small team of volunteers working on a big project to clean the sea of the remaining rubbish of the refugee crisis. Our team is supported by the Tourism Association of Molyvos. Our team has a local Diver and a small boat plus some volunteers who help out to clean the shorelines, the sea, and under the water till about 6 Meters. We started in March and are done with the first part of Petra till Eftalou and our next goal is to reach Skala Sikaminea and end at the airport of Mytilini. Our activity starts everyday if the weather and our energy allows us at 9:30 and we finish about 12:30 or 13:00. Most of the pieces can be taken out with free diving but if we need bottles we work together with the diving center of Petra. Our work is effective and 100% voluntary. We do not make pictures of before and after and do not collect money for our cause. We work with what we have and are happy with the results. Our biggest thank you we get is from the sea. Our goal is a clean and safe sea.
