AFE run centres for children, women and youth on the islands of Chios, Samos and in central Athens. We respond by providing structured, safe non-formal learning and youth centres designed to provide high levels of psychosocial support. We publish and disseminate information for migrant workers and refugees. We work on information outreach with migrant workers and refugees. We talk with everyone: refugees, asylum seekers, immigrants, migrant workers, and anyone who is seeking better information. We want to facilitate informed decisions about moving and living everywhere in the world. We are a group of volunteers and we are a registered charity in England. We work together online and sometimes we do ground missions. We had missions in France, Greece, Iraq, and India.

Athens Squat Volunteer

The squats in Athens currently house over a thousand refugee's and asylum seekers who are unable to access government funded means of support. They have been turned away from camps or chose to remain undocumented as a means to claim asylum in a country better equipped to handle the volume of people arriving. The squats are old schools, hotels, and office blocks that went bust in the recession. They provide basic facilities such as access to water and electricity, a bed in a shared room, and one meal a day when stocks will allow it. The squats are also open to people volunteers who want to provide some kind of activity to residents; such as teaching English, football with kids, women's group, arts and crafts, or anything else appropriate. We also encourage volunteers with maintenance skills, such as plumbing, electricity, or general D.I.Y skills to get involved. There is always something beneficial that can be done to improve the general living standards for people who often have no alternative other then the

We set up in spring 2020 as an emergency response to the pandemic, when other NGOs were forced to suspend services, to ensure people still had access to food. Now, we continue our work distributing ingredients as it gives people greater autonomy in cooking their own food to suit their own tastes, practices and schedules. Ecopolis is a social space in the center of Thessaloniki, devoted to solidarity and ecology. Since 2015 we have been actively helping refugees fleeing war and troubled areas. We are a modest group of independent volunteers from all over the world operating a small shelter for refugee families in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina. In this shelter, we provide accommodation, 3 meals a day, hygiene items, clothing, medical assistance, and education. We normally have between 75-90 residents at the House, with half of them being children. We are also focusing on providing daily activities for the residents of all ages to make sure they stay mentally stimulated and engaged throughout these dreary months. REvive Greece is a non-profit organisation with a mission to help young people from the most vulnerable groups (refugees, migrants and unemployed Greeks) integrate into the socioeconomic fabric, by reskilling them on computer programming. Summer Camps "Happy Children - Happy Youth"

Non governmental, not profitable volunteer organisation, which in its 78 years of action, has fostered 15.000 kids, with the aid of 3.000 volunteers. Every summer, the camp offers a home and psychosocial support to all kids, irrespective of their origin, nationality, religion, gender, age, family and financial status.All the activities are organised and put into practice exclusively by the -more than 80 active- volunteers, while in no sector are people employed.

Wir engagieren uns für geflüchtete Menschen. Alle zwei bis drei Wochen fahren freiwillige HelferInnen mit unserem Support Convoy in Flüchtlingscamps, wo wir den Menschen auf ihrer lebensbedrohlichen Flucht trockene Kleidung, Decken und Zelte zur Verfügung stellen und gemeinsam mit ihnen wärmende Getränke und Essen zubereiten. Entstanden ist unsere Initiative als Reaktion auf die humanitäre Katastrophe auf den Flüchtlingsrouten, die die erste Gruppe von Freiwilligen im November 2015 dazu bewog an die serbisch-mazedonische Grenze zu fahren, um gegen die beißende Kälte des Winters anzukämpfen.
