The Lava Project is a new NGO running a public hygiene laundry to serve Moria Camp.

We started a few months ago and currently wash and dry around 1,400 bags of laundry a month. We need someone to join our existing small team for at least 6/8weeks (or longer) as we take the project forward towards our planned capacity of between 3 - 4 thousand bags a month.

This is not 9 to 5 and not a 5 day week, the hours can be long! You must be over 25 with a full driving licence and willing to drive our Renault Trafic van.

The role will involve liaising with partners in or near the camp and helping to develop new relationships, assisting with social media and fund raising and helping to run the day to day logistics of this growing concern.

Please email us initially at and we will set up a video call to discuss further.
