We are a shelter for refugee single women and mohers with their children. The building is in the center of Athens and it has social service, a community room and a classroom (where the volunteers mailny work) and the houses of the residents (volunteers are not allowed to go there, only after perimission is some specific cases).

The volunteers who come to us they work on evening shifts (from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm); we ask the volunteers to make, at least 2 shifts per week. The mainly work during the shifts is to play with the kids, to learn to them the disclipine, the respect and the self care.

Also, we offer language classes which they are conducted by our volunteers. 

For the rest of the time, we prefer if some structured activity or workshop take place.
